The vehicle key as a marketing instrument

For decades, campervan and motorhome enthusiasts have opened their expensive vehicles with a “mailbox key”. They held the keys in their hand, carried it in their pockets, and left it on the table. It should reflect the value of the product and the market and be pleasant to carry. Due to the transition to a new lock system, it was possible to design an innovative key head to fit all KNAUS products individually.
