The first campervan with automotive design

LFI lightweight construction revolutionizes campervan construction

For the Brilliant model, it was possible for the first time to implement the design requirements very consistently but also in a production-friendly manner. The bow and stern of the vehicle consists of LFI sandwich components which are as large as possible. They give the designer more freedom. The design of the Brilliant is characterized by the high plasticity of bow and stern. The integrative design creates a strongly automotive character for this campervan. The large, flush-mounted integrated multi-function lights in the stern were specially designed and developed for this vehicle. The two additional position lights used in the LFI component give the stern of the Brilliant its unique and high-quality appearance.

LFI (long fiber injection) is a process in which a very stable, highly-integrated component is created. This offers ideal fastening options for components such as windows, lights and maneuvering handles. At the same time, the heat insulation of the middle layer, which consists of PU foam, is more effective than with conventional constructions.
