Furniture series for RIVA YACHT

With the AQUARAMA from the 60s, RIVA did create a real legend in the racing boat segment, an unique style and character, that remained unmachted ever since. Inspired by this icon, STUDIOSYN developed a special furniture series for the luxury brand RIVA. The first piece of this series, the RIVA Lounge-Chair, celebrated its release at the grand opening of the Yacht Club Monaco on June the 20th.

High quality in detail, dynamic, tradition and especially speed are the keywords of the AQUARAMA design. These are the qualities that RIVA furniture need to communicate as well. Inspired by the prominent silhouette of RIVA boats, the furniture also have a highly dynamic orientation, which makes them perfectly fit into the sporty and speedy environment of the yacht segment. But at the same time smoothly curved contour lines and softly shaped surfaces invite you to touch, feel and take a seat.

Mahogany, chrome parts, and bright, warm leathers bring back the charm and style of those boat classics. It was taken care that each component is not just decorative, but also functional. This way e.g. the removable and washable seats or smart material gaps, which enable color changes or easy handling, combine the chairs, sofas, sideboards and tables into an intelligent overall concept.
